Jeff Reigel Of Herbert Reigel Plumbing, Heating, and Fuel Oil receives a Marine Corps Toys For Tots 2007 Commander's Award from Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League member Andrew Leibenguth for Herbert Reigel's Plumbing, Heating, and Fuel Oil's outstanding collection of new toy and monetary donations. Jeff Reigel voluntarily decided to coordinate a local Toys For Tots drive via his work. Jeff raised almost $1,000 worth of donations. Jeff pointed out that the Tamaqua Masonic Temple in Hometown donated $200. Jeff asked us to tell all the kind people who donated, "Thank You!" Herbert and Jeff Reigel have always been a great supporter of our Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League's local Toys For Tots Campaign.  The Laurel Blossoms Red Hat Society of Jim Thorpe donated to our Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League 2007 local Toys For Tots Campaign during their Christmas dinner at the Blue Ridge Country Club in Palmerton. The Fire Company voluntarily holds a Toys For Tots breakfast every year in support of Toys For Tots. Although this Toys For Tots collection event was snowed and iced out, a good amount of donations was still collected. The West Penn Andreas Fire Co. No. 1 is a yearly supporter of the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League local Toys For Tots Campaign. PennSTAR Emergency Helicopter Team of University of Penn State donates Toys For Tots and many new toy helicopters to local Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League member Andrew Leibenguth and Mark Janner, Lehighton Ambulance Association, during Summit Hill's 2007 Christmas-On-The-Hill event. PennSTAR also delivered Santa Claus to Summit Hill's "Ginther Field" / "Ginder Field" via their emergency helicopter. Despite very cold and windy temperatures this day, donations were still collected and Santa still greeted anxious children with a Ho Ho Ho. Other Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League members were also at the Lehighton Wal-Mart the whole day collecting local Toys For Tots donations. The Tamaqua / Hometown Wal-Mart and Lehighton Wal-Mart are yearly supporters of Toys For Tots. Over 1,300 under-privileged children were helped during the 2007 holiday season. Jackie Warner, Sandi Artz, Debbie Shea, Donna Steigerwalt, Barbara Getz of Tea Timers Bowling League and Cypress Lanes in Lehighton give new toys to the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League's 2007 local Toys For Tots Campaign. The Tea Timers Bowling League and Cypress Lanes are both yearly supporters of Toys For Tots. Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League Commandant James Laub(left) presents Kevin Chain of Gothard Realty Inc. in Lehighton with a plaque for his outstanding support of our Schuylkill Carbon Marine League's 2007 Toys For Tots Program. The Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League was in desperate need of a new place to store, sort, organize, bag, inspect, and distribute Toys For Tots. In prior years, the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League had always done it's Toys For Tots out of the Big Lots warehouse in Lehighton. But due to expansion work at the Carbon Plaza Mall, the League is no longer able to hold its Toys For Tots campaign there. Kevin Chain showed his commitment to his community by supplying the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League with a large warehouse for this year's Toys for Tots Campaign.
